2. Ongoing costs

The main costs for continuing treatment are consultation fees and medication costs. The estimated cost for a monthly visit to the hospital is about 2,000 to 3,000 yen including consultation fees and medication costs.

It is recommended that sublingual immunotherapy be continued for 2 to 3 years to achieve optimal results. Therefore, the total cost will be approximately 24,000 to 36,000 yen per year , and approximately 72,000 to 108,000 yen over three years .
